Our Classes
Matt and I teach from our home in the Eldersburg/Sykesville area of Carroll County. Our classes are kept small to allow time for time for personal attention in an intimate setting. We do a full 12 week session in ten weeks of time to better accommodate our students busy lives. A standard twelve week session runs a two hour class. We now teach a two and a half hour class in ten weeks time, actually giving an extra hour of instruction over the standard twelve week class.
Our classes offer the following :
Full twelve weeks of instruction in ten weeks (plus one additional hour).
Bradley Method Student Workbook (125 pages)
Bradley Method Binder (filled with current research on class topics)
Class Text Book: Creating Your Birth Plan: The Definitive Guide to a Safe and *Empowering Birth by Dr. Marsden Wagner
A class with a lactation specialist (at no extra charge)
Featured guest speakers (past students who offer to come and share their birth story with you. A great time to ask questions!)
Free samples of maternity related materials
Access to our Lending Library of maternity related books and movies
A receipt to submit to your insurance company for
reimbursement
Most
insurance companies will cover at least a portion of your class tuition. If
your insurance company covers only hospital based childbirth classes, I can
offer a letter explaining the money saving aspects our classes have over
standard hospital based classes (ie.
less
medication, fewer surgeries, etc.)
